Technology & Processes
Forward/reversible coating technology (Key Feature): Forward coating: The varnish roller moves in the same direction as the edge banding. This is a conventional coating method, ensuring that the varnish is evenly and evenly covered on the edge banding surface, providing good basic gloss and protection. Reverse coating: The varnish roller moves in the opposite direction to the edge banding. This is a unique advantage of this equipment. The reverse rotation produces a stronger "kneading" force, allowing the varnish to more effectively: Penetrate the micro-gaps at the edge of the edge banding: Forcefully press the varnish into the tiny gaps where the edge banding and the substrate (such as the board) are bonded, significantly improving the sealing of the edge. Enhance edge adhesion: Improve the infiltration and adhesion of the varnish on the corners and edges of the edge banding, reducing the risk of edge warping or varnish peeling due to friction and moisture in later use. Optimize surface leveling: Under certain materials and varnish characteristics, it helps to obtain a more delicate surface effect. Precision coating control: Equipped with high-precision metering roller or scraper system, the coating amount (gram weight/square meter) is precisely controlled to ensure uniform coating, no dripping and no missing coating. The coating thickness can be flexibly adjusted according to different edge banding materials (PVC, ABS, PP, solid wood veneer, etc.) and varnish types. Efficient drying/curing: Integrated UV curing system (for UV varnish) or infrared/hot air drying system (for water-based or solvent-based varnish) to achieve rapid and thorough curing of varnish coating and ensure high production efficiency. Adjustable curing energy/temperature to adapt to different varnish curing requirements. Automation and compatibility: It can be used online with the edge banding machine to realize continuous and automated production of edge banding-oiling-curing. It can also be operated independently as an offline device to process pre-cut edge banding. It can adapt to edge banding of different widths and thicknesses, and is easy to change and adjust.
